Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, seeks an Assistant Project Manager in Pecos, Texas, to support project management on construction initiatives while ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence.

The role requires 2–5 years of relevant experience, a bachelor's degree preferred, and strong communication and organizational skills; travel is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in construction processes and project administration.
• Proficient in MS Office and construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, organizing, and staffing key field positions in coordination with regional department heads, superintendents and construction managers.
• Support the establishment and implementation of project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate guidelines.
• Maintain communication with clients, architects/engineers (A/E), vendors, and subcontractors to help facilitate project progress.
• Monitor construction progress and coordinate with the on-site Superintendent to ensure schedule and budget compliance.
• Assist in identifying potential project issues and participate in corrective actions.
