Job summary

Doggett Concrete Construction seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager in planning, coordination, execution, and financial oversight of commercial concrete projects. You will help with documentation, scheduling, procurement, cost tracking, and field communication with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.

The role develops technical, financial, and leadership skills aimed at advancing to a Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Associate degree with construction experience will be considered.
• 1+ years construction experience from a subcontractor's perspective. Concrete construction management experience is a plus.
• Superior communication skills. Able to work effectively and develop strong relationships with vendors and clients.
• Must be able to speak English.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Computer literate, MS Office, MS Project; PlanSwift experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in planning, coordination, execution, and financial management of commercial concrete construction projects.
• Assist with project documentation, scheduling, subcontract administration, procurement, cost tracking, and field communication.
• Develop and maintain schedules and daily reports for each project and ensure safety and quality standards.
