Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Position Overview

We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Project Manager (APM) to help deliver ground‑up and renovation projects across the commercial sector. This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years of experience who is ready to step into broader responsibility and fast‑track their career growth.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement logs.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and design partners to ensure work is executed in accordance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.
Manage project documentation: RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and daily reports.
Track cost reports and assist with monthly owner billings and financial forecasts.
Support field teams with schedule updates, quality control measures, and material deliveries.
Facilitate weekly OAC and subcontractor meetings, driving accountability and clear communication.
Promote a culture of safety by enforcing company and OSHA regulations on site.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
2+ years’ experience on commercial construction projects such as retail, office, hospitality, light industrial, or education.
Proficiency with Procore (or similar project management software), Bluebeam, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office Suite.
Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project delivery methods.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proactive problem‑solving mindset.
