You will work alongside Project Managers and Superintendents while coordinating subcontractors, vendors, design professionals, and clients to keep projects organized, properly documented, and moving on schedule.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working both in the office and on active construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the day-to-day management of commercial construction, renovation, and tenant improvement projects.
  • Support project activities from preconstruction and procurement through construction, turnover, and closeout.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, architects, engineers, and field teams to keep project requirements on track.
  • Prepare, distribute, and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, meeting documentation, and project correspondence.
  • Review plans, specifications, and other construction documents to identify discrepancies, coordination issues, and missing information.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules and track progress against critical milestones.
  • Help monitor project costs, commitments, invoices, purchase orders, and change-order activity.
  • Attend project and coordination meetings, document action items, and follow up with responsible parties.
  • Conduct regular jobsite visits to observe progress, document field conditions, and coordinate with the Superintendent and project team.
  • Assist with material procurement, deliveries, subcontractor scheduling, and other project logistics.
  • Help coordinate inspections, punch-list completion, turnover, warranty items, and final closeout.
  • Proactively communicate potential schedule delays, cost concerns, scope issues, and other project risks to the Project Manager.
  • Gradually assume greater responsibility for project coordination and management with the goal of progressing into a Project Manager position.
  • 2+ years of commercial construction experience in project management, project coordination, project engineering, or a related role.
  • Experience working for a general contractor on commercial construction, renovation, tenant improvement, or similar projects.
  • Working knowledge of construction documents, including plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, schedules, and change orders.

  • Paid time off.
  • Company-sponsored programs.
  • Professional development and ongoing training.
  • Opportunity to gain increasing project ownership and responsibility.
