Qualifications

• Four-year bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• EI certification is required; PE or on track to obtain PE strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in civil site design or related field.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and related engineering design software.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary production teams and manage resources to meet project goals.
• Coach and mentor design and CAD staff, promoting best practices.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure clear communication and efficient execution.
• Oversee design and production of civil engineering construction documents (site plans, utility plans, CDs, reports, specs).
• Lead design of civil utilities and site layouts (water, sewer, stormwater, HGL, fire flows, grading, erosion control).
• Coordinate with subconsultants (geotechnical, architectural, environmental).
• Assist with site permitting and agency communications to maintain timelines.
• Ensure work aligns with McAdams’ standards from concept to construction administration.
• Schedule projects to align with permitting timelines and resource availability.
• Focus on delivering high-quality results and client satisfaction.
• Cultivate business development through client and partner relationships.
