Job summary

Qualifications

• Four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EI required; PE or on track to obtaining PE strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years' experience in civil site design or related field.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and relevant engineering design software; strong site design knowledge.
• Ability to manage resources, schedule projects, and oversee multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities; mentoring capability.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships with a focus on service quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading a multidisciplinary production team and manage resources to meet project goals.
• Coach and mentor design and CAD professionals and promote collaboration.
• Work with team members to ensure clear communication and project efficiency.
• Oversee design and production of civil engineering construction documents.
• Lead design of civil utilities and site layouts, including water and sewer systems.
• Coordinate with subconsultants to integrate project components.
• Assist in coordinating with review agencies for site permitting.
• Ensure work aligns with McAdams standards from concept to construction.
• Schedule projects to align with permitting timelines and internal resources.
• Maintain high-quality results and begin to cultivate client relationships for business development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
