Job summary

McAdams is seeking a Project Manager to lead civil engineering projects from design through construction administration. You will manage project teams, cultivate client relationships, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery to high technical standards.

The role emphasizes design coordination, permitting, risk management, and mentoring junior staff, contributing to firm growth and project success.

Qualifications

• Four-year bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, related field required.
• EI license required; PE or on track to obtaining PE strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in civil site design or related field.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and other relevant design and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of civil engineering projects, directing teams and serving as primary client contact.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and pursue repeat business.
• Mentor project teams and coordinate design efforts with subconsultants and staff.
• Direct and support site design including plans, utilities, grading, and infrastructure layouts.
• Manage project budgets and schedules, allocating resources to meet deadlines.
