Job summary

HDR is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for the Building Engineering Services Group in Charlotte, NC. This role focuses on client development and delivering facilities design for datacenters, offices, manufacturing, and tenant upfits, guiding projects from upfront planning through commissioning.

You will lead multi-disciplinary design teams from concept to completion, ensure progress on budget and schedule, and collaborate with HDR’s global client management team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• 5 years related experience.
• Strong interaction with design teams and excellent organizational, project management and communication skills.
• Active participant in HDR’s employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work of single or multi-discipline teams throughout project life cycle.
• Manage small projects or components of larger projects within budget and schedule.
• Coordinate workload through project execution and deliverables.
• Collaborate with Project Manager, Accounting, and Business leadership for project reviews.
• Perform other duties as needed.
