HDR is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Building Engineering Services Group in our Charlotte office. The Assistant Project Manager should have experience focusing on client development and delivery of projects including facilities design for datacenters, office, manufacturing, and tenant upfit for a wide variety of clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in supporting the delivery of projects from upfront planning and pre-design through detail design, construction support, and commissioning. This position offers an opportunity to join a large, growing engineering and design practice. In addition to management and delivery of projects (the primary focus), the successful candidate should possess the drive to develop and secure work from a robust global client base and expand HDR’s reputation within these markets. This role will manage multi-disciplinary design teams from project conception to completion and requires strong organizational skills and follow-through. Daily work includes collaboration with local Project Managers and our global client management team. Some travel to client sites or other HDR offices is required.
