Job summary

HDR is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to coordinate multidisciplinary teams across the project lifecycle, reporting to a Project Manager and ensuring deliverables meet budget and schedule. The role emphasizes collaboration with accounting, operations, and business leadership to support project reviews and ongoing performance.

  • Strong organizational, project management and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture preferred.
  • Professional Engineer or Licensed Architect preferred.
  • Experience in building engineering design projects (Data Centers, Semiconductor, Industrial, Infrastructure).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's life cycle, under supervision of a Project Manager.
  • Coordinate workload through project execution and complete deliverables on budget and schedule.
  • Work with the Project Manager, Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

In the role of Assistant Project Manager, we'll count on you to:
  • Coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's life cycle (from development and initiation to close-out), while under supervision of a Project Manager
  • Responsible for many aspects of a small project or a single aspect of a larger project
  • Coordinate workload through project execution and complete deliverables on budget and schedule
  • Work with the Project Manager, Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews
  • Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture
  • Professional Engineer or Licensed Architect
  • Experience within the industry of building engineering design projects such as: Data Centers, Semiconductor, Industrial, or Infrastructure
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 5 years related experience
  • Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
