Brooklyn Millwork is expanding and hiring for an Assistant Project Manager in our Brooklyn office. The role involves assisting with shop drawings, approvals, purchasing, and coordinating processes at sites, with close interaction with suppliers, contractors, architects and the production team.

Qualifications

• Ability to read working/architectural drawings.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Confident PC proficiency and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shop drawings, approvals (submittals), purchasing and procurement.
• Prepare work schedules, process RFIs, and coordinate field activities on sites.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, architects and the production department.

Requirements

• Experience in the field of carpentry (millwork), cabinetry, construction or architecture is desirable
• Ability to read working / architectural drawings
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Attention to detail, responsibility and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously
• Confident PC proficiency and fluent English
