SSTJOBS in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support commercial Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVAC controls projects. You will work with Project Managers, field technicians, engineers, contractors, and customers to coordinate projects from kickoff through completion.

Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, documentation, and coordination across teams; reviewing drawings and scopes; and ensuring quality and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in HVAC, BAS controls, mechanical contracting, electrical, or commercial construction
• Experience coordinating projects or working in a field operations environment
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read construction drawings and project documentation preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Track project schedules, materials, submittals, and project documentation
• Coordinate with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Assist with project updates, change orders, RFIs, and project closeout activities
• Support field teams to ensure projects remain on schedule and meet quality standards
• Review project drawings, scopes of work, and construction documents
• Participate in project meetings and occasional job site visits
• Maintain accurate project records and communication throughout the project lifecycle

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support commercial Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVAC Controls projects in the Atlanta market.
