Job summary

LVI Associates in Nashville, TN is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will work with project managers and field leadership on municipal projects such as water treatment plants, pump stations, and underground utilities.

This role offers growth into a Project Manager position with exposure to large-scale public infrastructure projects and a focus on safety, quality, and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of construction experience, ideally within heavy civil, utility, or water/wastewater construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with planning, execution, and closeout of water/wastewater construction projects.
• Manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract correspondence.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Track project schedules, budgets, and production progress.
• Support procurement of materials and subcontractors.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project plans to identify issues and opportunities.
• Attend project meetings and maintain accurate meeting documentation.
• Assist with cost tracking, forecasting, and monthly reporting.
• Help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Support project teams during startup, commissioning, and project closeout activities.

An established heavy civil contractor is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the successful delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects throughout the Nashville area. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced project managers and field leadership on complex municipal projects including water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, force mains, underground utilities, and related infrastructure improvements.
