Qualifications

• Background in oil and gas, pipeline, field engineering, or site leadership with a strong desire to grow into a PM role.
• Comfortable being on an active construction site full time in a demanding outdoor environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Able to read a situation, prioritize on the fly, and follow through without needing to be reminded.
• Some exposure to construction scheduling, subcontractor coordination, or project financials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the eyes and ears on the job site and coordinate with subcontractors when PM is off-site.
• Maintain coordination between owner, subcontractors, and internal team.
• Gather bids from subcontractors/vendors and present to PM before awards.
• Track resources, subcontractors, and material deliveries to keep schedule.
• Take meeting minutes and keep records up to date.
• Support subcontractor and vendor payment apps, invoices, and change orders.
• Assist with billing and accounts receivable alongside PM.
• Push submittals and approvals through to avoid delays.
• Assist across purchasing, engineering, accounting, and construction admin as needed.
• Support closeout and wrap-up of jobs.

Overview:

• Be the eyes and ears on the job site. The go-to person for subcontractors and construction personnel when the PM is not on-site.
• Keep all the moving parts coordinated between the owner, subcontractors, and internal company personnel.
• Gather competitive bids from subcontractors and vendors and bring them to the PM before anything gets awarded.
• Track resources, subcontractors, and material deliveries to make sure the job stays on schedule.
• Take meeting minutes for all project meetings and keep records clean and current.
• Help review and process subcontractor and vendor payment applications, invoices, and change orders.
• Support timely and accurate billing and accounts receivable alongside the PM.
• Push material submittals and approvals through the pipeline so deliveries do not hold up the work.
• Pitch in across purchasing, engineering, accounting, and construction admin as the project demands.
• Support the closeout process and help wrap jobs up cleanly when the time comes.
