Job summary

The Superintendent I must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, decision-making, and time-management skills, along with effective communication and client-service abilities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Position Summary:

We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager who is ready to grow their career while helping guide projects from planning through completion. Working closely with experienced Project Managers, this individual will coordinate with owners and subcontractors, support project execution, and contribute to meaningful work across the region. As experience and expertise grow, the role offers a clear path toward increased responsibility and independent project leadership. The ideal candidate is a collaborative communicator with strong business acumen, emerging leadership skills, and a genuine commitment to safety and quality.

Location:

This is a hybrid role based out of our Bedford office, with regular travel to active jobsites across the DFW metroplex.

What you will do:

Project Over Sight:

• Lead and participate in preconstruction, progress, and other project-related meetings
• Monitor project status, schedule performance, and change management to support timely and successful completion
• Support preconstruction activities by preparing trade contracts and bid packages and coordinating procurement efforts

Client & Subcontractor Relations:

• Develop trusted working relationships with clients, designers, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle
• Facilitate timely, professional conflict resolution with subcontractors while protecting project objectives

Quality & Safety:

• Conduct quality-control inspections and review inspection and testing data to ensure compliance with project specifications
• Champion jobsite safety by modeling best practices and mentoring team members
