Job Description Summary

Responsible for overseeing and delivering Project & Development Services that meet the requirements and goals of the client.

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Assist the Project Manager with managing all phases of a project including planning, design, construction, FF&E, technology, and occupancy.
  2. Compile project budgets and schedules.
  3. Read and understand documents defining project, including but not limited to: agreements, leases, work letters, project charters, surveys, budgets, schedules, and drawings.
  4. Establish and maintain client focus through performance goals, deliverables, reports, and value-added services.
  5. Review design documents, scope of construction, and create preliminary construction budgeting.
  6. Prepare project status reports, process purchase orders, update tracking reports, and maintain files for due diligence and financials.
  7. Source and manage local GC’s and or subcontractors, specialty vendors, architectural, and MEP engineers.
  8. Ensure all project participants understand project goals, assumptions, constraints, and deliverables.
  9. Provide superior client service to internal and external clients.
  10. May have full ownership and responsibility for smaller, less complex projects.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Business, Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
  2. 3+ years of relevant work experience or any similar combination of education and experience.
  3. Must be comfortable with ambiguous tasks, and able to self-solution using provided resources.
  4. Must be flexible in working alone or with a team.
  5. Ability to prepare and track overall project budgets and schedules.
  6. Experience leading and managing numerous facets of multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Ability to develop and cultivate business relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  8. Willing/able to travel up to 10%.
  9. Excellent interpersonal skills.
