Role Description

The Assistant Project Manager position is an integral part of the ongoing operations of New Path.Specifically, the Assistant Project Manager will be involved in all facets of the end-to-end construction process in an administrative capacity.Successful Assistant Project Managers will have the opportunity to be promoted into the position of Project Manager once they are capable of successfully running a project from beginning to end (at the discretion of the leadership team).

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Project Managers in organizing project timelines, schedules, and documentation

• Facilitate communication between field teams, subcontractors, vendors, architects, and clients

• Track project progress, update schedules, and assist with reporting project milestones

• Maintain accurate project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals

• Assist with budget tracking, cost control, and invoice processing

• Help prepare for and document project meetings

• Coordinate permit applications, inspections, and compliance paperwork

• Visit job sites to assist with coordination, logistics, and progress monitoring

• Ensure health and safety protocols are being followed across job sites

• Assist Bid Procurement team during sub contractor bid solicitation

Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of experience in construction coordination or project support role, ideally in commercial construction

• Strong understanding of commercial construction practices and terminology

• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Construction Online, PlanGrid, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents

• Posses a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to visit job sites

Preferred:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field

• Familiarity with scheduling software like Microsoft Project or Primavera
