Job summary

Wollborg Michelson Recruiting seeks an Electrical Assistant Project Manager to support planning and execution of commercial electrical construction projects. You will coordinate documentation, budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractors, and field activities while maintaining scope, quality, and schedule requirements.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans, preparing RFIs, assisting with estimates and bids, tracking costs, and managing change orders.

  • Monitor progress, schedule updates, and milestone completion.
  • Participate in project meetings and coordinate follow-up actions.
  • Maintain project logs, workflows, and tracking systems.
  • Process and track change orders, including pricing and client communication.
  • Manage project documents, including drawings, submittals, specifications, and revisions.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and support field coordination.
  • Assist with field issues and coordination challenges.
  • Maintain clear communication among field teams, clients, and internal stakeholders.

Electrical Assistant Project Manager
Job Summary

Support the planning and execution of commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Work closely with project managers and field leadership to coordinate project documentation, budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractors, vendors, and field activities while maintaining scope, quality, and schedule requirements.

Requirements
  • Two to five years of commercial construction experience;electrical construction experience preferred.
  • Bachelor s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Understanding of construction documents, schedules, budgets, and project workflows.
  • Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
