You will mentor Project Managers, estimators, and engineers, coordinate with owners, GCs, and trade partners, and lead continuous improvement across the project portfolio in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of commercial electrical construction project management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Monitor financial performance, forecasting, cost control, productivity, and profitability.
  • Identify project risks and implement solutions to maintain schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
  • Coordinate with field leadership, vendors, warehouse personnel, and trade partners.
  • Serve as the primary contact for owners, general contractors, architects, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and estimating staff.
  • Promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Job Summary

Lead commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout while ensuring exceptional customer service, financial performance, quality execution, and operational excellence. This role also mentors project management and estimating staff and supports strategic business initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead commercial electrical projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Monitor financial performance, forecasting, cost control, productivity, and profitability.
  • Identify project risks and implement solutions to maintain schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
  • Coordinate with field leadership, vendors, warehouse personnel, and trade partners.
  • Serve as the primary contact for owners, general contractors, architects, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Build lasting client relationships through responsive communication and exceptional service.
  • Mentor and develop Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and estimating staff.
  • Promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, contract requirements, and quality expectations.
  • Improve project management processes, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on resource planning and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
  • At least 7 years of commercial electrical construction project management experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of estimating, project cost accounting, scheduling, procurement, contracts, and forecasting.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional, customer-focused approach in a fast-paced construction environment.
