Job summary

Qualifications

We’re looking for a construction-focused Project Engineer who supports project execution through strong coordination, documentation, and communication on our Lakeport project full-time. This role plays a key part in managing RFIs, submittals, and project information while helping ensure alignment with contract requirements, schedule, budget, and quality standards. You’ll partner closely with superintendents, project managers, and trade partners to keep projects organized and running efficiently.

We’re seeking doers who take ownership of their responsibilities, stay proactive, and help drive progress across the project team. Strong candidates are detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working with tools like Bluebeam, scheduling software, and Excel, with a commitment to accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$90,000.00 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

What You Bring

Bachelor’sdegree isrequiredin the areas of construction management or engineering. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
A valid driver’s license may be required. Individuals in this role may be subject to an annual Motor Vehicle Records check. The outcome of any MVR checks conducted may negatively impact the persons’ ability to participate in any vehicle program provided by the company, including but not limited to the ability to drive a personal vehicle on behalf of The Boldt Company or rent a vehicle through for business travel purposes.
Nice to Have
Less than a year of related experience (internship experience preferred) with a working knowledge of construction methods, equipment, drawings, specifications, and applicable building standards.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to take initiative, communicate effectively, and work across teams to achieve results with minimal oversight.
Highly organized and motivated with excellent communication and presentation skills; able to multitask, build relationships, and foster collaboration and consensus.
