Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

The Assistant Project Manager will support planning, coordination, financial tracking, and client communication efforts to help ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers in overseeing the full lifecycle of electrical construction projects
- Assist with project documentation, submittals, RFIs, and change order management
- Help track project budgets, cost reporting, and forecasting
- Coordinate schedules and communicate updates with field teams and subcontractors
- Review contract documents and drawings to ensure scope alignment
- Participate in client meetings and maintain professional communication
- Monitor procurement activities and material deliveries
- Support billing processes and ensure timely documentation
- Identify potential risks and elevate concerns appropriately
- Reinforce safety standards and company procedures on assigned projects
- Collaborate with engineering and field teams on design-build projects where applicable
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of experience working for an electrical contractor in a project support, coordination, or field engineering role
- Exposure to commercial or mission-critical construction projects preferred
- Foundational understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, and contract documentation
- Experience coordinating with field operations teams
- Working knowledge of electrical systems and construction processes
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Field experience or internship experience with an electrical contractor is a plus
- Design-build exposure is advantageous
Compensation and Benefits
