We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to work in our Charlotte NC office. This is an in-office, full-time position. Salary range is $50K - $60K depending on experience. Looking for an immediate hire.

Must have experience in Commercial Big Box Construction on Walmart Projects.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects under the guidance of the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager. Your role involves assisting in project management tasks, monitoring project progress, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Planning and Coordination.
  2. Coordinate with Project Manager all scopes of work and contracts for each project.
  3. Print, maintain, and distribute drawings to superintendents and project managers throughout each project.
  4. Obtain and manage labor rate forms from each subcontractor and send the labor rate workbook to Project Managers for each project.
  5. Schedule Management.
  6. Manage RFIs and Submittals.
  7. Assist Project Manager in tracking and reporting project progress.
  8. Manage equipment rentals (delivery and pickup) for connexes, forklifts, scissor lifts, temp fencing, porta potties, etc.
  9. Budget Monitoring and Cost Control.
  10. Coordinate change order pricing from subcontractors and workbooks throughout each project.
  11. Order and manage waste management dumpsters, barrels, stickers, postings, etc.
  12. Team Collaboration and Communication.
  13. Manage and organize digital documents for the field workers in the super drive.
  14. Manage temporary labor as needed on each project.
  15. Complete any task assigned by the Project Manager in an efficient and timely manner.
  16. Quality Assurance.
  17. Obtain and manage WV forms from each subcontractor throughout each project.
  18. Obtain site-specific trailer postings from Project Managers to provide to the trailer set-up team.
  19. Assist in material management and procurement as needed.
Qualifications:
  1. Ability to hold oneself accountable and foster strong collaboration.
  2. Strong computer skills and proficiency in project management tools and software.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Willingness for occasional travel to job sites.
  6. Must have experience in Commercial Construction.
