Electrical Assistant Project Manager / Assistant Construction Manager

Location: Lubbock, TX

Duration: 18‑Month Project

Schedule: 13 Days On / 1 Day Off | 6 x 12‑Hour Days

Are you an electrical construction professional looking to take the next step in your project management career?

We are seeking an Electrical Assistant Project Manager / Assistant Construction Manager to support a major Data Center construction project in Lubbock, Texas. This role works directly with Project Managers and field leadership to coordinate project execution, procurement, scheduling, reporting, project controls, and client communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project scheduling, procurement, and material coordination
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
• Track project financial performance and cost controls
• Support subcontractor coordination and administration
• Monitor schedule progress and project milestones
• Assist with forecasting, reporting, and change management processes
• Participate in client meetings and project coordination sessions
• Promote safety initiatives and project compliance efforts

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of electrical construction experience
• Superintendent experience plus at least 1 year as an Assistant PM or Project Manager
• Experience supporting industrial, mission critical, or data center construction projects
• Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling, and construction processes
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred

• Construction Management or Engineering degree
• Experience with large‑scale electrical infrastructure projects
• Exposure to Data Center or Mission Critical construction
