We are assisting a Texas-based regional commercial general contractor seeking a K-12 Senior Project Manager and Project Manager to lead school construction projects in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The role focuses on managing daily site activities, coordinating with subs, and ensuring plans and budgets are met with high-quality results.

The ideal candidate holds a construction-related degree and has hands-on experience managing crews on K-12 projects; OSHA 30 and safety culture are emphasized.

This contractor specializes in a range of construction services, including commercial, K-12, Higher Education, Municipal, Public Safety, and Senior Living. They have become one of the top schools builders in Texas. This GC is known for its commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, and has a team of experienced professionals who work closely with clients to deliver successful projects.

We are looking to hire a K-12 Senior Project Manager and Project Manager with experience building schools and successfully working w/ various school districts in the Dallas/Fort Worth region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily construction activities on the project site
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure that all work is completed on time and to the highest quality standards
• Review and understand project plans and specifications to ensure that all work is completed in accordance with these documents
• Monitor project budgets and schedule to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure that all project requirements are met
• Maintain a safe and organized work site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science, Construction Engineering Technology, Construction Management or related field
• 3-15 years of relevant experience in K-12 school construction
• Managed crews of ten (10) or more tradesmen
• Managed all subcontractors on a single project.
• Organize site project progress meetings, compile meeting minutes and perform preconstruction meetings.
• OSHA 30 hour, First Aid/CPR
• Ability to perform layout with use of construction survey equipment is a plus.
• Understanding of plans, specifications and construction documents
• Strong work ethic, decisive, ambitious, with an unwavering commitment to quality
• High level of motivation, integrity, and commitment to team and customer
• Results-orientated with proven ability to organize, plan and prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Ability to provide leadership field personal and subcontractors
