Job summary

Trillium Construction is hiring a Site Assistant Project Manager for a long-term contracted role in Mahomet, IL. The successful candidate will support the Site and Project Managers with daily site operations on a solar project, and assist in coordinating subcontractors, deliveries, and documentation.

The role requires 1–2 years of construction or solar experience, proficiency with Procore or similar platforms, and the ability to generate and manage daily reports and schedules.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of construction or solar project experience.
• Experience with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar platforms.
• Experience with daily reports, timesheets, delivery tracking, and project documentation.
• Familiarity with solar construction activities, including site prep, racking, module installation, electrical work, and commissioning.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager and Project Manager with daily site operations and project coordination.
• Maintain accurate project records, reports, logs, and other site documentation.
• Assist with daily project tracking, including manpower, equipment, materials, deliveries, and work progress.
• Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel as needed.
• Help monitor material deliveries and ensure materials are received, organized, and properly stored.
• Assist with maintaining site schedules and communicating schedule updates to the appropriate team members.
• Support daily site meetings, including preparation of meeting materials, notes, and action items.
• Assist with maintaining safety documentation, inspections, training records, and incident reports.
• Help ensure the jobsite remains organized and follows company safety and housekeeping standards.
• Take photographs and maintain daily documentation of project progress.
• Assist with tracking RFIs, submittals, punch-list items, and other project documentation.
• Support the Site Manager with administrative tasks, data entry, filing, and document control.
• Assist with tracking equipment and tools used on the project.
• Communicate site issues, delays, material shortages, or other concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support successful completion of the solar project.

Our client specializes in utility scale solar and they are now looking to bring on a Site Assistant to help run a project in Mahomet. This is a long term contracted role paying up to $37/hr depending on experience with a minimum of 40 hours a week.
