Job summary

Structure Tone Boston, part of the STO Building Group, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support tenant improvement construction projects. The role involves coordinating among architects and engineers, scheduling subcontractors, and assisting with cost control on active sites.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Construction Management or Engineering and 3+ years of commercial construction experience, proficient in MS Word and Excel, with CMiC experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support senior leadership and run project audits.
• Provide new hire technology training.
• Coordinate among architects and engineers.
• Schedule subcontractor manpower and material resources.
• Review submittals and RFIs.
• Participate in cost control.
• Manage document control and track changes to contracts.
• Perform QA/QC on on-site materials.
• Assist with punch lists and close-out documents.

Assistant Project Manager

Structure Tone Boston, part of the STO Building Group organization, is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to support our tenant improvement construction projects. Responsibilities

• Support senior leadership directly and running project audits
• New hire technology training
• Coordinates among professional disciplines (i.e. architects and engineers)
• Scheduling of subcontractor manpower and materials resource
• Reviews and processes submittals and RFI's (requests for information to the design professionals)
• Participates in cost control
• Document control including reviewing and tracking changes to the contract documents
• Quality control/quality assurance reviews of on-site installed materials
• Assists with punch listing and assembling close-out documents

Qualifications

• Works with all team members with safety management.
• Strong with paperwork and organized.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
• 3+ years project management experience in commercial construction (i.e. Construction Clerk, Project Engineer)
• Proficient with MS Word & Excel.
• CMiC experience a plus.
• Strong mathematical aptitude excellent written and oral communication skills.

Salary:

$80K - $110K

Compensation:

In addition to base pay, eligible for discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
