Base pay range

$68,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

Job Description

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager in leading project teams in the development of multiple multi-family projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the design team in the development of the construction drawings for assigned projects.
• Assist with permitting and plan review process, including coordination with local utility providers.
• Assist in developing the subcontractor and vendor list for assigned projects.
• Assist in the management of the bidding process, including initial cost estimate, bid solicitation, compilation of bids received, and preparation of the final cost estimate.
• Assist in preparing all contracts and purchase orders.
• Assist the Project Manager in monitoring assigned projects and the Project Superintendents in their daily tasks.
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, government officials, equity investors, and lenders when required or requested by the Project Manager.
• Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards.
• Travel to jobsites as needed to coordinate work on assigned projects, primarily in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in construction management or engineering.
• Knowledge of construction safety and strong safety values.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience with Sage, Procore, or similar project management software is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.
