About the Role:

We’re hiring for an Assistant Project Controls Specialist to join a top-tier team supporting industrial and energy projects. This position will support critical functions like cost tracking, scheduling, reporting, and progress measurement across multiple active projects. Ideal for candidates with a foundation in project controls and a sharp attention to detail, this is an excellent opportunity for growth with a path to hire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support project setup in Enterprise Planning & Controls software
• Develop and maintain cost reports, forecasts, schedules, cash flows, and progress metrics
• Create and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
• Input data and changes into control systems like SAP, Prism, or EcoSys
• Assist with Purchase Order and Subcontract reviews and coding accuracy
• Track and document change orders (both prime contract and downstream)
• Build and maintain earned value systems, schedule logic ties, resource loads, and progress curves
• Help facilitate schedule coordination, reporting, and field audits
• Perform quality checks on project controls deliverables
• Assist with material takeoffs and documentation compliance
• Support other duties as needed in accordance with standards and policies

Requirements:

• 3–10 years of experience in cost control, scheduling, or project controls
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Accounting, or Industrial Engineering preferred
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, and cost systems like SAP, EcoSys, or Prism
• Experience with Procore, Power BI, or Tableau is a plus
• OSHA 10 safety certification or willingness to obtain
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
