Job summary

Devereux Massachusetts is seeking an Assistant Program Manager in Rutland, MA to lead youth-centered care within a DBT-informed program. You will support clinicians, plan activities, and help maintain a safe, nurturing environment for adolescents and staff.

Requirements include a 21+ age, valid driver’s license, and MAPS certification (or within 6 months). The role offers growth in behavioral healthcare with comprehensive benefits and a strong team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with two years of congregate care experience or a Bachelor’s degree with one year of congregate care experience.
• Degrees in psychology, social work, sociology, or related field preferred.
• MAPS certification required, or able to obtain within 6 months of employment.

The pay range for this position is $23.47- $27.76 per hour depending on experience and education.

This position is located in Rutland, MA.

The schedule for this position is: Sunday - Wednesday 3pm-11pm

$2,000 Sign-on Bonus

Additional $250 Bonus if MAP Certified

Devereux Massachusetts and Rhode Island is a nationally recognized organization dedicated to helping children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Willow House program serves co-ed individuals aged 9-16 with ASD and IDD, some of whom are non-verbal. With 1 staff to 3 students ratio, this program offers a high level of individualized care that is focused on safety, self-care, and daily living skills. Staff design house-specific routines, chores, and activities that support the individuals' growth and development.

This program operates with a DBT clinical model. Each client receives individual therapy, along with participation in a DBT skills group. The DBT model emphasizes growth in interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness. Clients are encouraged to take an active role in their treatment and collaborate closely with clinicians to set and pursue meaningful goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High School Diploma with two years of congregate care experience or Bachelor’s degree with one year of congregate care experience required. Degrees in the subject area of psychology, social work, sociology, or related field preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be able to attend a 2-week paid orientation, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA.
• Must be MAPS certified, or able to obtain certification within 6 months of employment.
