Job summary

The Connection in Middletown, CT is seeking a Program Manager 1 to lead the Connection House Work Release program. You will ensure efficient operations, oversee scheduling, facilities, contracts, and fiscal management, and collaborate with staff to guide clients back into the community.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree, 5 years of related experience with supervision, and a valid CT driver’s license. This is a full-time, first-shift position with comprehensive benefits.

Schedule: Full time; 40 hours; Monday-Friday; 1st shift with flexibility to meet the needs of the program

Program Summary

A residential work release program providing adult males under the supervision of DOC case management services, job preparation opportunities, and substance and mental health education. This allows them to successfully re-enter their communities.

Position Summary

The Program Manager 1 will ensure that all matters involving program functioning will run efficiently and effectively. The Program Manager 1 will manage and report on the day-to-day operations of the program including but not limited to; scheduling, facility, contract obligations and fiscal management.

Working within Adult Services, the Program Manager 1 within the Work Release program works with Community Justice program staff to help to rehabilitate, educate, and successfully guide clients from incarceration back into the community.

Requirements

• Valid Connecticut Driver’s License

Orientation

If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
