Bridgemark is a nonprofit behavioral health organization providing comprehensive substance use treatment services, including residential, outpatient, and transitional housing programs. Our 35-bed men's residential facility offers a structured, recovery-focused environment to support long-term wellness.
Position Summary: The Assistant Program Manager supports the daily operations of the residential program and ensures smooth coordination of behavioral health technician (BHT) coverage, shift leadership, and client services. Working in close partnership with the Program Manager and Clinical Supervisor, this role maintains consistency and structure across all shifts, promotes compliance with agency policies, and provides hands-on leadership in a dynamic 24/7 setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with scheduling, coverage coordination, and oversight of BHTs and shift leads
Ensure adherence to staffing ratios and shift overlap protocols
Monitor daily operations including facility safety, cleanliness, and client routines
Respond to incidents, document issues, and communicate with leadership appropriately
Act as program lead in the absence of the Program Manager
Support onboarding, training, and supervision of new BHTs and team leads
Work collaboratively with the Clinical Supervisor to support therapeutic programming and client transitions
Participate in audits, inspections, and licensing preparation tasks as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field
Minimum of 2 years experience in a residential or behavioral health setting
Supervisory or shift lead experience preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, as needed
