Job summary

Douglas County School District is seeking an Assistant Program Manager - BASE to supervise staff and guide children in after-school and before-school programs at Frontier Valley Elementary. You will assist in daily operations and help implement engaging activities while ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations.

The role requires strong community relations skills, experience in supervising staff, and a commitment to safety and positive behavior support.

Qualifications

• Minimum education or experience as outlined by Colorado rules and department requirements.
• Experience supervising staff in a school-age program preferred.
• Ability to develop and evaluate programming for children in a structured setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director in ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
• Plan and implement activities promoting learning and life skills.
• Collaborate with families and providers to support children.
• Coach and mentor staff to meet program goals.
• Ensure child safety with proper supervision at all times.
