Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Program or Project Manager roles, preferably in electric utility projects.
  • Knowledge of resiliency planning, grid modernization, and utility regulations.
  • Experience managing large multi-disciplinary projects and financials.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Sr. Program Manager in planning and executing resiliency projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, construction, procurement, and regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as primary contact between United Utility Services and utility partners, maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Monitor milestones, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present status reports to leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.

The salary range for this position 150,000.00-200,000.00 . Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and strategicAssistantProgram Managerto lead a multi-year initiative focused on strengthening the electrical grid across the Gulf South region. This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of program execution, including planning, budgeting, stakeholder coordination, and performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Sr. Program Manager in the planning and execution of resiliency projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, construction, procurement, and regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact between company and utility partners, maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Monitor project milestones and deliverables, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present regular status reports to internal leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in program delivery.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in Program or Project Manager (preferably in the electric utility industry or a related field).
  • In-depth knowledge of resiliency planning, grid modernization, and utility regulations.
  • Demonstrated success in managingfinancials, large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • ExcellentCustomer and Executive Management relationship skills
  • Ability to make informed decisions under pressure, meet strict deadlines,and facilitate focused and cross-functional meetings and calls.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and environmental standards in the electric utility industry

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
