Job summary

Washington County Mental Health Services Inc. Sunrise Wellness Center seeks a full-time Assistant Program Manager who is or will become a Certified Peer Specialist to guide individuals on recovery journeys and to lead program development and staff supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement programs at Sunrise Wellness Center in collaboration with individuals.

  • Provide support to individuals facing homelessness, symptom management, and substance use.
  • Complete required documentation and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Assist with lifting up to 50 pounds, gardening, and driving agency vehicles.

Assistant Program ManagerWCMHS Sunrise Wellness Center is seeking a full-time Assistant Program Manager who is or is willing to become a Certified Peer Specialist, to work in a dynamic environment. This individual will work with individuals and groups within Sunrise Wellness Center, the community and people served homes. The focus of the Assistant Program Manager will be guiding and supporting individuals on their journeys of recovery, program development, and supervision of staffSummary of DutiesDevelop and implement programs at the Sunrise Wellness Center working collaboratively with individuals on their personal journeysMust be a certified Peer Specialist or willing to become a certified Peer SpecialistLead groups which include but are not limited to activities of daily living, emotional and physical resilience, community connections and workforce developmentProvide support to individuals who struggle with homelessness, symptom management and substance useMust be able to complete and stay up to date on all required documentationMust be able to lift 50 pounds, assist with gardening and chicken careMust be able to drive agency vehicles with multiple passengersCompensation and BenefitsWCMHS provides a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and a generous retirement contribution match. Frequent transportation of clients in one's own vehicle.
