YMCA of Greater Indianapolis is seeking an Assistant Program Instructor to lead safe and engaging classes according to YMCA guidelines and safety procedures. You will prepare lesson plans, assemble equipment, and begin on time, ensuring a positive experience for participants.

Responsibilities include adhering to emergency procedures, recording progress and accident reports, and maintaining a professional appearance and cooperative attitude while effectively managing class time and space.

Qualifications

• Provide safe and engaging classes following YMCA safety guidelines.
• Follow emergency procedures and safety codes for each program.
• Help participants develop to their fullest potential and deliver quality service.
• Complete paperwork and keep records (accidents, skill sheets, progress reports).
• Prepare lesson plans and set up/put away equipment before/after class.

Responsabilités

• Provide safe and challenging classes by adhering to all safety guidelines.
• Know and follow emergency procedures according to established guidelines and health codes.
• Aid in developing participants to their fullest potential and providing exceptional service.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and record keeping (e.g. accident reports, skill sheets, progress reports).
• Prepare lesson plan for each class and set up/put away equipment before/after class.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
• Maintain a cooperative attitude when sharing site space and avoid unnecessary socializing.
