Job summary

The Assistant Program Director for La Jornada at National Youth Advocate Program oversees programmatic, administrative, financial, and operational aspects of foster care, case management, and clinical services for minors. The role provides supervision to assigned staff and serves as a secondary liaison with ORR and NYAP stakeholders.

You will work closely with the Program Director, lead staff, and partners to ensure compliance with licensing standards, coordinate trainings, and drive quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in education, psychology, sociology or related behavioral science.
• 5 years of progressive experience in social services or childcare.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Proficient use of computers, phones, and standard software.

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Director with programmatic, administrative, financial, and operational systems.
• Supervise assigned staff and coordinate foster care, case management, and clinical services.
• Liaise with ORR and NYAP stakeholders and partners.
• Ensure licensing compliance and prepare regulatory reports.
• Assist in staff recruitment, training, and development.
