Job summary

The Child Center of NY seeks an Assistant Program Director for P.S. 156 Laurelton to help run daily operations and ensure high-quality programming in a school setting.

The APD will supervise staff, monitor compliance, and coordinate inclusive supports for participants, including those with disabilities and English Language Learners. • The candidate should have experience supporting youth programs and coordinating inclusive services.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required.
• Experience with children with disabilities and English Language Learners is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring program activities to meet goals.
• Support staffing, supervision, and program logistics to ensure safety and quality.
• Provide coaching and feedback to staff to maintain compliance and best practices.
