Job summary

Lantern Community Services seeks an Assistant Program Director to partner with the Program Director in overall management of Clover Hall's program. You will supervise the case management team, ensure services meet regulatory standards, and drive learning-focused, inclusive programming for residents with complex needs.

The role requires MSW or MHC, supervision experience, and a commitment to harm reduction. Availability for after-hours support may be needed to ensure operations and client safety.

Qualifications

• MSW or MHC required; license within one year of employment.
• Minimum of one year supervisory experience in social services.
• Minimum three years post-Master’s experience in social service, housing or emergency shelter.
• Supervisory/administrative/management experience.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills; team player.
• Experience with harm reduction model and substance use issues.
• Experience with DOHMH, HASA, OMH, DHS contract regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision and coaching to the case management staff.
• Lead staff learning and professional development initiatives.
• Review and approve case management documentation to ensure high standards of care.
• Conduct internal chart reviews with Program Director.
• Review dashboards and monthly reports to track outcomes.
• Participate in interviews and assess client needs for safe housing transition.
• Develop treatment plans and safety planning with Case Managers.
• Facilitate referrals and liaison with care coordination agencies.
• Develop supervision plans and accountability systems for reporting.
