Job summary

The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine invites applications for an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental and Public Health Sciences to join its growing Public Health Programs.

The appointee will lead OSHA education initiatives, teach across undergraduate and graduate levels, mentor students, develop MPH curriculum, and collaborate with affiliated centers and hospitals to advance occupational and environmental health research.

Qualifications

• PhD or DrPH in public health or related field.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and research with peer-reviewed publications.

Responsibilities

• Manage departmental OSHA continuing education programs and related administration.
• Teach public health courses at undergraduate and/or graduate level in health services, health systems, environmental health, policy, and related topics.
• Advise and mentor students in academic and practical experiences.
• Assist MPH curriculum development, program assessment, and accreditation readiness.
• Collaborate with MPH faculty and leadership to ensure program success and workforce alignment.
• Participate in MPH program meetings and strategic planning.
• Uphold MPH policies and manage courses and activities.
• Undertake additional duties assigned to MPH Program.
