Job summary

Marshall University’s academic psychiatry department seeks a full-time Assistant Professor- Psychiatrist to join a growing program with a newly ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency. Duties may include outpatient, inpatient, and consult psychiatry and involve teaching medical students and psychiatry residents.

Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry, able to obtain WV licensure, and have a medical degree. Residency in Psychiatry completed preferred.

Qualifications

  • Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry.
  • Must qualify for medical licensure in West Virginia.
  • Medical degree or foreign equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Duties may include outpatient, inpatient and consult psychiatry.
  • Faculty psychiatrists will be involved in the teaching and supervision of medical students and psychiatry residents.
