Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Permian Basin Family Medicine seeks a part-time physician to join our department. You will provide patient care, supervise residents, and contribute to education in a community-based setting across the Permian Basin.

Requirements include MD/DO/MBBS, completion of a Family Medicine Residency, and USMLE Step 3. The role offers a monthly pay basis with compensation commensurate with education and experience, and opportunities for professional growth

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by performing medical examinations as necessary and appropriate for all patients.

• Precept family medicine residents and medical students, providing bedside training.
• Provide mentorship, training and resources to students and residents to be successful in their future careers.

Major/Essential Functions

• Provide patient care by performing such medical examinations asare necessary and appropriate for all patients;

• Precept family medicine residents and medical students,providing bedside training; and,
• Provide mentorship, training and resources to students andresidents to be successful in their future careers, placing astrong focus on education and evidence-based practices.

Required Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS Degree;
• Completion of a Family Medicine Residency; and,
• Completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination(USMLE) Step 3.
