Responsibilities

• Teach a range of courses in the Department of Special Education for Master’s, credential, and undergraduate students.
• Maintain an active scholarly agenda for tenure and promotion.
• Provide service to the Department of Special Education including advising, curriculum development, assessment and accreditation tasks, and recruitment activities; guide advisement for the bilingual authorization program.
• Participate in shared governance and serve on department, college, and university committees.
• Organize all classes within the Canvas LMS.
• Demonstrate awareness of the needs of a highly diverse student population through inclusive materials and teaching strategies.
