The University of Texas at San Antonio invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Department of Educational Psychology. This on-campus role teaches undergraduate courses, develops Child Life courses, and ensures adherence to ACLP standards while guiding student readiness for clinical placements.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology and CCLS certification, with preferred PhD in Education or related fields.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Educational Psychology, Human Development, Education, or related field.
• Certification: Active Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) credential.
• Ability to teach on-campus or via synchronous online formats.
• Position may require maintaining the security and integrity of UT San Antonio per EO-GA-48.

Responsabilidades

• Teach undergraduate course in the Undergraduate Behavioral Sciences Program in the Child Life Track.
• Help develop Child Life courses within the undergraduate program.
• Grade coursework and evaluate student readiness for clinical placements.
• Maintain knowledge of ACLP standards.
