University of Texas at San Antonio in San Antonio, TX, seeks an Assistant Professor of Practice to help build the Behavioral Science Undergraduate degree in the Child Life Sciences area. You will teach courses, help develop curriculum, and serve as the primary contact for advising and program decisions.

The role emphasizes knowledge of Child Life Standards and collaboration with faculty to grow the undergraduate program. On-campus work is expected with potential flexible options.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Educational Psychology, Human Development, Education, or related field.
• Active Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) credential.
• Ability to teach on-campus or via synchronous or asynchronous online formats.
• This position may require the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure per Texas EO-GA-48.

Responsabilidades

• Teach undergraduate course in the Undergraduate Behavioral Sciences Program in the Child Life Track.
• Help develop Child Life courses within the newly created undergraduate program.
• Grade coursework and evaluate student readiness for clinical placements.
• Maintain current knowledge of Association of Child Life Professionals (ACLP) standards.
