The Graham School of Business at York College of Pennsylvania, avibrant, student-centered institution, invites applications for anenergetic and engaging full-time tenure-track faculty member inMarketing at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning August,2027. The faculty are a collaborative, collegial community ofeducators who focus on providing students with real-worldexperiential learning and enriching relationships, as well as astrong culture of excellence. The Graham School of Businessmaintains ACBSP accreditation, and features 14 majors, 24 minorsand 4 graduate programs.

The marketing program at York College of Pennsylvania is designedto ensure that students benefit from the rigorous business corecurriculum, as well as essential fundamental marketing courses.There are also many elective opportunities to allow for students tocustomize their academic path towards their career aspirations.Close student-faculty relationships enhance students' personal andprofessional decision-making. Consistent with the culture of theGraham School of Business, the marketing courses are highlyexperiential, often collaborating with outside industryorganizations. There is also a robust collegiate chapter of AMAwhich offers additional enrichment to students.

This position is responsible for delivering high-quality in-person,undergraduate marketing classes (a 4/4 teaching load is standard).The successful candidate will teach Principles of Marketing,Marketing Research and Market Measurement and Analysis. TheAssistant Professor of Marketing will also serve as an academicadvisor for students, and engage in service consistent with theinstitution's mission and the Graham School's accreditation thatcontributes to the College and community. This position willrequire on-going scholarship and professional development. TheAssistant Professor may also have the opportunity to teach otherbusiness classes as needed, including potentially at the graduatelevel.

Essential Functions
  • Teach four 3-credit face-to-face courses each semester (falland spring).
  • Advise undergraduate students in marketing.
  • Engage in service to the school, college, and community.
  • Represent the school at events, including recruitmentevents.
  • Engage in relevant professional development.
Experience and Education Required
  • Earned (by August 2027) Ph.D. in Marketing or a closely-relatedbusiness discipline, or DBA with specialization in marketing.
  • Work experience in a marketing or sales position that willtranslate well to the classroom.
  • Experience teaching face-to-face undergraduate collegiatemarketing courses in a school of business is required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong teaching skills (as demonstrated by teaching evaluationswhen possible); a teaching demonstration during the interview willbe required.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize experiential learningpedagogies is required.
  • Expertise in the area of marketing research is required.
  • Research skills as demonstrated by a track record ofpublication in peer-reviewed venues or a robust pipeline ofresearch in progress that is viable for publication arerequired.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment toworking as part of a collaborative team are required.
