Overview

Position Summary
The Graham School of Business at York College of Pennsylvania, a vibrant, student-centered institution, invites applications for an energetic and engaging full-time appointment in Supply Chain Management at the rank of instructor, beginning August, 2026. The faculty are a collaborative, collegial community of educators who focus on providing students with real-world experiential learning and enriching relationships, as well as a strong culture of excellence. The Graham School of Business maintains ACBSP accreditation, and features 19 majors, 23 minors and 5 graduate programs. The curriculum at York College of Pennsylvania is designed to ensure that students benefit from the rigorous business core curriculum, as well as essential fundamental supply chain courses. Close student-faculty relationships enhance students' personal and professional decision-making. Consistent with the culture of the Graham School of Business, the supply chain courses are highly experiential, and grounded in key technical skills. There is also a robust collegiate chapter of ASCM which offers additional enrichment to students.

This position is responsible for delivering high-quality in-person, undergraduate classes (a 4/4 teaching load is standard). The successful candidate will teach courses such as Essentials of Supply Chain, Lean Systems, Logistics Management, Production Planning and Controlling, and Project Management. The Instructor will also serve as an academic advisor for students, and engage in service consistent with the institution’s mission and the Graham School’s accreditation that contributes to the College and community. This position will require on-going professional development. The Instructor may also have the opportunity to teach other business classes as needed, including potentially at the graduate level.

  • Earned related business graduate degree (e.g., MBA).
  • Demonstrated involvement with ASCM/APICS.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience that will translate well to the classroom.
  • Evidence of teaching effectiveness; experience specifically teaching college supply chain courses preferred.
Required Skills
  • Strong teaching skills (as demonstrated by teaching evaluations when possible); a teaching demonstration during the interview will be required.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize active learning and/or experiential learning pedagogies is required.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to working as part of a collaborative team are required.
