Job summary

Quinnipiac University’s School of Business seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Finance starting Fall 2027. Candidates should integrate AI and FinTech into research and teaching, and explore interdisciplinary opportunities across analytics, AI, technology, and healthcare.

Responsibilities include teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels in finance and building a high-impact research program focused on financial analytics and digital assets. Collaboration with colleagues is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Finance, FinTech, Economics, or closely related field.
• ABD candidates must complete all degree requirements prior to start date.
• Evidence of scholarly activity meeting AACSB standards.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate finance courses (Investments, Portfolio Management, Corporate Finance, etc.).
• Maintain an active research agenda publishable in top finance journals.
• Advise and mentor students; participate in department, school, and university service.
• Collaborate with colleagues on teaching and research; contribute to curriculum development.
• Support experiential learning and industry engagement initiatives.
