Doane University, a liberal arts university with campuses in Crete and Lincoln, and an Omaha Location, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Engineering with an anticipated start date of August 2025. The selected candidate will join the growing Engineering & Physics department, which offers an ABET -accredited Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering with specializations in mechanical, civil, electrical, and environmental engineering. Anticipated responsibilities include teaching 21 credit hours per year, supervising engineering design projects, engaging undergraduate students in research, advising majors, and participating actively in the life of the department and university.
The university is seeking civil engineering candidates to complement the expertise and talent pool of the current faculty. The ideal candidate will be able to teach interdisciplinary core courses and across the breadth of the civil emphasis course offerings. Candidates with demonstrated teaching and industry experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
