CSUF faculty are committedteacher/scholars who bring research and creative discovery to lifefor students in classrooms, labs, studios, and individuallymentored projects. They teach broadly in the curricula oftheirdepartments, advise students, and serve on departmental anduniversity-wide committees. The primary responsibilities of thisposition will include developing and teaching undergraduate andgraduate courses in data analytics, as well as teaching coregraduate and undergraduate courses in the candidate's areas ofspecialty. Faculty responsibilities also include contributing tothe supervision of undergraduate and graduate research. Thesuccessful candidate will be responsible for producing scholarshipcommensurate with the requirements for tenure. The successfulcandidate will also be expected to contribute to and participate inthe life and development of the department, advise students, serveon committees, and participate in the broader university anddisciplinary communities.

The Assistant Professor(Academic Year) classification salary range is $6,221 to $13,224monthly (12 monthly payments per academic year). The anticipatedhiring range is $9,100 to $9,278 per month.
Salary offered is commensurate with experience andqualifications.
