The role involves teaching AIS and financial or managerial accounting across BS/BA, MS/MA, MBA programs, and potentially online/hybrid formats while contributing to assessment, scholarly activity, and student advising.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree (Ph.D. or DBA) in accounting or related field (MIS or Finance)
• Ability to teach and design curriculum at undergrad and grad levels in AIS and financial/managerial accounting
• Plan for scholarly activity or research and professional service
• Proven ability to engage a diverse student population and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• Teach Accounting Information Systems and Financial/Managerial Accounting
• Develop curriculum for AIS and accounting courses
• Teach in BS/BA, MS/MA, MBA or DBA programs
• Deliver in-person, online, or hybrid courses
• Contribute to assessment of student learning and program outcomes
• Engage in scholarly activity and research
• Advise students and provide career guidance
